Old School Windmill
When I was making this photograph just outside my hometown of Gilroy California the owner of the ranch was leaving their house and we got to talking. He was saying this windmil was already on the property when his family bought the land in the 1940's. During that time the land was still used as a working orchard. Since there was so much history behind the shot I decided to give the pic an antique look.

The Long Road Home...
Its absolutely amazing how few people there are willing to just take a chance at life on the road. The painted desert and petrified forest won't quite have the awe factor of the Grand Canyon but if you catch it at the right time... wow
